limitations of visa received at luo hu port

Question

Hi I am an Australian I will be entering china through Hong Kong and plan to get my entry permit at Luo Hu Port. I plan to spend a week in Guangzhou then maybe travel to Xian to see the terracotta warriors.Will this VOA allow me to travel to Xian?

Hi, Steven, you can't go on this trip with the VOA received at Luo Hu Port. First, the VOA only allows you to stay in Shenzhen. Secend, you can only stay five days with this VOA. As you will travel in Guangzhou and Xi'an for more than one week, I think you need to apply for a normal entry permit prior to departure.
