Visas on arrival at Zhuhai from Hong Kong

We are travelling on Australian passports to Zhuhai from HK for a couple of days. Is the best way to go by ferry from TST to Macau then to the border for the VOA? Is the border at the immigration section at Macau port or do we have to go somewhere else? I'm assuming that the only place we can do this is Gonbei port. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey, your way is good for getting the VOA in Zhuhai and it is indeed at Gongbei Border. After going through the immigration at Barrier Gate, you will see the Custom House. However, it is not assured you can get one on the spot. Sometimes, the customs may refuse to issue one. So if possible, it is best to apply for a China visa in advance.

thanks a ton Garry. Hopefully we won't be rejected by Immigration. Never mind, if we are, we'll just spend more time back in HK.
