About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I plan to fly to Honk Kong often to visit friends as I am retired. Can I get a 10 year visa?

I would like to travel by car to China as a tourist but the dates I would travel are unknown. Travel to PRC is mainly to play golf, sight seeing and shopping.

Ed, you can apply for a 10 years tourist type. The requirements haven't changed compared with those short-term L types. However, it's still the consular officers who finally decide whether you will be granted with a 10 years or a short-term one.
