About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Do I need a to apply for a transit visa before hand?

hello,
My friend and I are travelling to Bankok and are stopping at beijing to tranfer. I am Mexican travelling from Los Angeles.

Hi Griselda, if you stop over in Beijing for less than 72 hours, you don't need to apply for the transit permit before hand.
