About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I need to travel from Hong Kong to Shanghai, use 72 hour free transit and fly to Taipei.

Will they give me the permission?
Do i need return ticket to enjoy the free visa transit?
I'm holding czech republic passport.

Kamila, you can make use of the 72-hour free transit policy. To apply for it, you should have a ticket from Shanghai to Taipei.
