S1 visa application

Hi I'm kate, my husband is working in china, Me and my son applied for S1 type. they accepted the application and gave me a payment slip that i should go back for pick up after four days if there's no interview. In the afternoon when I was home they called that i should go the next day for interview. I went for interview and everything was answered and they said they will call me if they give me the S1 type or not. In the afternoon they called again telling that i can pick up my passport tomorrow, I asked if its with the S1 and they said I will find out tomorrow..what does it mean? i've got no idea bout this.
