About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72-hour visa-free stays for transiting travelers in WUHAN?

Hello,

could you please confirm the opportunity to obtain in the WUHAN airport (WUH) the 72-hour free stays for transiting travelers?

My flight routing will be FCO-WUH-BKK with 10 hours stopover in WUHAN and I would have a short visit the city of WUHAN, leaving the airport during the stopover.

In case, should I request any application in Italy before travelling to China or can I request it directly in the WUHAN airport?

Thanks in advance for your precious reply.

Kind regards,
Andrea

Hi Andrea, you can request it directly in the airport. The thing is you need to tell the airline before the plane arrives that you have the intention to use this free transit policy.
