About:China Transit Visa

hi im ANDRE. im a U.S permanent resident i had 11 hrs. layover at Beijing

do i need a transit visa to go out for a sightseeing? do i need a temporary permit and what documents do i need?

Hi Andre! You don't need the transit permit for the layover at Beijing, but you need a temporary stay permit to go out for sightseeing. The stay permit can be acquired at the airport. You just need to show your passport, entry permit for the destination country, and an onward flight ticket.
