Jing, if he holds Chinese passport, then it proves that he is a Chinese.

Jing, I think your husband has dual citizenship. He was born in Philippine so that he is a Filipino. Since he has Chinese passport, he is a Chinese citizen too. The difference is that China doesn't acknowledge dual citizenship. However, Philippines allow its citizens to have dual citizenship, according to what I know.

So I don't think he will have any troube in his household registration in Taiwan as long as he enters with his Filipino passport.
