About:China Train

Hi there am I able to book tickets now to travel in early January from Guangzhou to Wuhan?

If so when will I get these tickets and can they be delivered to my home country? Also what information is required to book? One traveller will have a Chinese passport while the others have foreign passports? Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry.
The ticket for most routes usually begin for sale 60 days within the departure date. We can only arrange the delivery within China like a hotel or personal address. We need all the passengers passport copy for the issuing. You can upload them online or send to us by email. Thank you.

Ok, so you don't need Chinese identity card details, passport is sufficient? Also it will be extremely busy around that time of year when we want to travel due to Chinese New Year, is it guaranteed that you'll be able to purchase tickets for all 3 passengers?

Thank you for your inquiry.
The Chinese passport and ID card are both OK for the booking. The ticket can only be guaranteed after the issuing. If we fail to book it for you, we will offer the full refund. Hope for your kind understanding.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately though, because it's so busy at that time of year, if you don't manage to make my booking for me then I probably won't have a chance to make another one as they'll all be sold out. How sure can I be that you'll be able to make the payment on my behalf?

If the ticket "sold out" even at the time it begin for sale, it would be the same for all the passengers or agents. We can only try our best. You need to finish the payment first and then we can issue the ticket for you. If we did fail to get the ticket you want, we will inform you by email and arrange the refund. Thank you.

Ok then, thanks for the reply. How often does it happen that passengers book with you more than two months in advance, for travel around Chinese New Year, and you are then unable to purchase the tickets for them and must refund instead? Roughly 20% of the time, or more or less? Sorry but I do need to be sure before placing a booking as if this does not work out my family will be stuck without transport when we arrive. Thanks

It is really hard to say out the percentage. Normally, the tickets for high speed trains are easier to get, and over night sleeper tickets are hard to get for some of the special routes. You need to let us know your schedule firstly, then we could give you some suggestion.

Thank you for your inquiry.
To guarantee the trip, we suggest you to choose some backup choices as well, like trains from 9:30am to 10:am. You can inform us your backup choice in order in advance. if your first choice did sold out even at the time it begins for sale, we can turn to your second choice directly. Hope for your kind understanding.
