how easy is it to go from terminal to terminal at pek?

Heard  Terminal 3 (our flights: Air China from Bangkok and then Air China to Montreal) is really efficient. We have  choice of 1hour 25mins  or 6hours 30mins to get our connecting flight. We think one is too short ;the other too long. But the longer one is safer to not miss the connection. Heard there isn't much in Terminal 3. Supposedly more to do/eat/shop in other terminals. Can international travelers  move around (easily) between terminals? Marian

Well, generally speaking, International to International transfer in T3 usually takes around an hour. But yes, you are right, the longer one is safe to not miss the next flight. If so, you can have some foods in airport's local restaurants. There are also many duty free shopes in T3. You can buy some interesting souvenirs.If you wanna go other terminals, the transportation is also convenient. There are many free shuttle buses that operate between terminal buildings. For foreigners, many clear English signs will help you find the right direction. Don't worry.
