About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

13 hours stay at shanghai airport.

Hi I am an Indian and has 13 hours stay on shanghai airport. If I want to visit the city do I need to apply for any kind of VISA or I can go out in the city for 7-8 hours ?

Ashu, if you want to leave the airport, you should apply for a temporary stay permit at the immigration counter so that you can go out and tour the city.
