About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Would a single entry be acceptable?

We are on Princess cruise arriving in Hong kong 17/03/2016 & 18/03/2016. At sea for 2 days & then to Shangai on the 21/03/2016.

Hi Patrick! As you hold Australian passports, you don't need the entry permit for HK. Therefore, a single entry is enough for your trip. By the way, if you transit in mainland China for less than 24 hours, the entry permit is not required either.
