About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Greece citizen visa on arrival (Landing Visa) for Hainan Island

I am citizen of Greece and I want to travel to Hainan island alone. Are citizens from Greece eligible for VOA in Hainan ? How do I convince the airline to let me board the plane without Chinese entry permit if I am eligible for VOA in Hainan? Thank you. Kostas

Hi, Kostas, you are eligible for VOA to the island. You should contact with the airplane in advance and ask if you are allowed to board under the condition that you can get the VOA. If not, you’d better apply for an entry permit beforehand.
