About:Kunming Airport Transportation

How come the subway from Changshui Airport to East Bus Station cost just RMB5 ?

Whereas if take shuttle bus cost 5 times more at RMB25 ? Is subway an underground train ?

Subway is kind of public transport and in China it is usually operated by government as an unprofitable business. Yes, it is kind of underground light train.
But the airport shuttle company lives for the profit.
