About:China Visa on Arrival

Traveling to China from United States for quick sightseeing trip.

I am planning to travel to Beijing or Shanghai for two nights, primarily for sightseeing and to earn my airline miles. Do I need a visa, as long as I in the country for less than 72 hours? Thanks you.

Jay, it depends on your route. If you fly from country A to Beijing/Shanghai and then to Country B, you can enjoy this trip without the need for applying an entry permit.
