About:China Visa

Travel to Hong Kong with a temporary stay permit

Hello. I will move to Ningbo from Chongqing and I'm changing employer legally.
But since My work permit and residence will be cancelled i will have a temporary visa for 1 month until i get the other one from my new employer. Can i travel like that for 3 days in Hong Kong?
I'm from Moldova by the way.

If you exit from mainland to HK, I'm afraid your temporary stay permit will expire automatically at the time you exit, so that you can't re-enter unless you apply for a new entry permit. To avoid such troubles, I don't advise you to travel to HK during the layoff.

Dear Amanda, I know. I found out also today. The thing is I really want to attend an open day from Emirates as cabin crew but in China it's invitation only. Anyway thanks.
