About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Is a tourist visa sufficient, or do I need to apply for another? how long does it take to acquire?

I'm contemplating on attending an investment seminar and exhibition this month in Beijing. The purpose of the seminar is to attract investors for overseas real estate.

Tom, it's better that you apply for an M type and you can travel as a tourist with the M type. The normal application process takes four working days.
