Well, as for the accommodation, I suggest you live in the mountain scenic area, where you can see the sunrise and sunset scene. Xihai Hotel is a good choice, it is located at xihai Scenic area. You can take the Taiping cable car to Danxia Station. The walk about 25 mins, you will reach the hotel. You'd better book it in advance.
