About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Will my inward trip qualify me for the 72 hour exemption?

I am planning arriving Guangzhou from Bangkok per Air Asia 11/5/2016 and am booked out of Guangzhou with China Southern on 13/5/2016 to Auckland, New Zealand, returning 31/5 to Bangkok with China Southern, via Guangzhou again. Will the inward trip qualify me for the 72 hour exemption?
Thanks
