About:China Visa Exemption

Excursions from Cruise ship

My husband and I ( both British) have booked an excursion from our cruise ship while it is in port for one day in Shanghai. Do we need a visa?

If you are in transit and your layover in mainland China does not exceed 24 hours, you don't need it.
