how would I get from the Beijing rd east to Longyang st to get the maglev train to shanghai airport?

You can take subway line 1 at Xinzha Road Station, get off at People's Square Station. Then transfer to line 2 to Longyang Road Station. It takes around 25 mins on the way. The ticket fare is CNY 4 per person. Then catch the SMT to PVG.
