closest available train station to heng shan

Does anyone know whether Hengyang Station or Heng  Shan  station is closest  to Heng Shan Mountain. On the map, Heng Shan station seems closest, but the last time I passed by this area,  train crew imformed me that trains no longer stops thereAny clarifications  would be useful.Thank you............Ramon Rodriguez Montalvo from Cuba

Yes, the nearest railway station is Hengshan Railway Station, but As I know there are still many trains stopping at the station. I heard that train will not stop at the train station during the Spring Festival Travel rush. Comparing Hengyang train station, Hengshan West Railway Station is a better choice, for it is closer. Anyway, maybe you can tell me where you start and where you are going, I can help you find the best solution.
