traveling around based near wuhan university of technology

if there are any attractions nearby which are not to far and not easy to get lost in then can you please let me know, including places and distance and if possible bus numbers

The university has several campuses. Do you refer to the mian campus, Mafangshan campus?If so, You can visit the nearby Yellow Crane Tower, East Lake Scenic area. To the former spot, you can walk about 650 yards from the campus to Shipailing Road, Shijiancun to take the bus No. 503 to Wuluo Road, YUemachang. Then walk about 330 yards, you will reach the tower. The distance is about 3.5 miles.To the latter, you can walk about 0.5 miles to North Section of Luoshi Road to take the bus No. 810 or 709 to Donghu Road, Liyuan Station. Get off the bus, you will see the east Lake scenic area. The distance is about 5.5 miles.
