About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I am from New Zealand and want to travel to Hong Kong.

Can I land in Guangzhou, spend 72 hours there and take a bus/train to Hong Kong (within the 72 hours) or must I fly to Hong Kong from Guangzhou to take advantage of the visa free policy? Thanks

Carlton, to take advantage of this policy, you must go from Guangzhou to Hong Kong by air.
