About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Boston - Beijing, Beijing - Boston trip

I'm a US citizen/passport holder. I am flying from Boston to Beijing and then Beijing to Boston connecting in the US both directions. I arrive to PEK on 27NOV at 3:30pm. I depart PEK on 29NOV at 5:00pm. Do I qualify for the free 72 hour visa? Am I allowed to visit the Great Wall while I'm there?

You can't use this waiver if you are returning to the same country.
Technically the Great Wall is out of the Beijing region.

You can visit ther Great Wall if you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit. Unfortunately, you are not eligible.
