About:Shopping in Tianjin

Shopping in Tianjin

Hey, i am currently living here and i was wondering if you knew any good places to buy all sorts of stuff with a chinese touch to it (that means not brands). I have been to Da hutong and culture street, and i want to find a market where locals come (not a tourist place) where i can buy good quality chinese tea or herbs. Markets with clothes or food would also be very appriciated.

1. For Chinese Tea, you can go to Zhujiang Avenue, Hexi District. There are many stores that sell all kinds of high-quality tea.
2. For herbs, as I know, there is no large market in downtown area. One Herb Market is located at Jinghai County. Most products have good quality and reasonable prices.
3. For clothes, Binjiang Commercial Street is highly recommended. It wins high popularity among local people. You can find many fashion clothes there.
4. For food, there are many vegetable and seafood markets in this city.
3rd Avenue Vegetable Market is located at No.29, 3rd Avenue, Binhai New District.
Haizhongtian Seafood Market is located at No.36, Zijinshan Raod, Hexi District.
