can i break journey on a station enroute tofrom hk airport with the same airport pass?

I plan visiting Lantau island enroute to Airport. I intend buying Octopus card during my visit. I would have used one aiport transfer at my arrival from airport to city.  My return journey to airport, I will need to break it enroute at Tsing Yi to take Tung Chung Line. Will my airport travel pass valid on resumin journey from Tsing yi again.

I am a little confused. Do you plan to buy Airport Express Travel Pass? If so, just get one with two single journeys on the train. Then you can freely ride the Airport Express and MTR without worry. Let me know if you mean anything else.
