Can I break journey on a station enroute to or from HK airport with the same airport pass?

I plan visiting Lantau island enroute to Airport. I intend buying Octopus card during my visit. I would have used one aiport transfer at my arrival from airport to city. My return journey to airport, I will need to break it enroute at Tsing Yi to take Tung Chung Line. Will my airport travel pass valid on resumin journey from Tsing yi again.
