About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Seoul to Shanghai to USA, need 72 hour visa in china

I am flying to Taiwan on 10/23, then to Seoul on 10/28, on November 4 I am hopping to visit Shanghai for 72 hours, then back to the USA via Tokyo. Do I qualify for the 72 hour stay?

Yes, your route is qualified. However, you need to double-check that your flights into Shanghai and out for Tokyo don't stop by any other Chinese cities.
