multiple entry for x2 visa

Hi,We are some students that are going to study in Beijing until December. We have the X2 type with just one entry and we would like to get some more.We are having several problems to register in our police station as our landlord lives abroad and we are missing the original certificate of ownership... Could we go to an hotel for some nights so as to get the slip to be able to get more entries?Thank you very much

Pilar, you can stay at the hotel for several nights to acquire the temporary accommodation registration slip. However, if you plan to extend your X2 type, you should get the approval from your school. If you can't, then you can ask for a 30 days L type instead. By the way, I am not sure if the local entry and exit bureau will ask you to apply in your country for a new X2.
