About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Im a peruvian, can I ask the tourist visa in Russia?

Hi, im from Peru, travelling to many countries and now im in Russia, i didnt need permit to enter to Russia but i need it for China. Here are like 4 PRC embassies, may I ask the L type in any of them? Or maybe i can get it in the border? Or will be easy if I ask it in another country. Nathalie, usually the applicants who apply in the third country are required to provide their long-term resident permits. If they can't, then they are suggested to apply in their own country. Since you don't have long-term resident permit in Russia, I am afraid that your chance is very little. It's the same if you apply in HK. HK resident status is required. But you don't have it.

And you can't apply for the VOA. However, since you are already in Russia, you should try your luck at Chinese embassy there. If they refuse your application, then you have no choice bet get back to your own country.
