About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

vietnam - shanghai - canada : 2 different booking

hi,
i need to attend a wedding in Shanghai, i leave from Vietnam on a 1 way ticket then 2 days later i fly from Shanghai to Canada with another airline and booking.
my entry permit to China expires this week i would like to try the 72h exemption and make a new visa in Canada

Maxime, you can use the 72h free transit policy with two different airline tickets.
