About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

TORONTO - CHICAGO - SHANGHAI - CHICAGO - TORONTO

I'm a Canadian passport holder and I'm flying out of Toronto, transferring at Chicago (layover), then staying at Shanghai for 3 days, then transferring back to Chicago (layover), then Toronto. Am I applicable for the 72 hour visa-free transit?
