About:Shanghai Railway Station

Sorry I am confusing between Shanghai subway and Shanghai Railway station.

May I know the difference between these two? I would appreciate if anyone could reply. Thank you.

They are totally different system. Subway only connects different place within the city. They run underground and usually available every a few minutes. People can only buy the subway ticket after they get there or using the card instead. For the rail, they connect with other cities instead and under control of rail authority.
