About:Shanghai Metro

Difference of Subway and Railway station in Shanghai

Sorry I am confusing between subway and Shanghai Railway station. May I know the difference between these two stations? I would appreciate if anyone could reply. Thank you.

Subway station is also called metro or underground station, which is a short-distance transportation mode inside the city. While railway station usually operates trains to other cities of china, which is a basic long-distance transport mode in China. Luckily, in SH City, each train station has a subway station nearby which is named after the train station.
