About:China Visa Exemption

Temporary Entry Permit for Direct transit passenger

I have 20 hours layover in Guangzhou. Want to know how to get temporary entry permit to sight seeing the city. Would I have to apply pre-hand or can I apply for it at the airport on arrival? Is it free permit or charged?

Hey, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the immigration inspection counter on arrivial. The permit is free of charge.
