Transportation: Taxis are convenient in the city. Besides, five subway lines well serve the locals, so you can also make full use of it. They have English signs and broadcasting in the stations. Bus systems are good, but only Chinese characters can be seen, not that easy for foreigners.

Weather and clothing: It is cloudy this weekend, with the temp ranging from 19C to 27C, still warm enough. Prepare summer clothing, a long-sleeved shirt and light pants.

Accommodation: Many hotels, inns and hostels are available in town. Let me know your budget and location preference, so I can give you some recommendations.

Hi, the three major communication carriers - China Unicom, China Mobile, and China Telecom, have many service offices on the street. Just walk into a branch and get a SIM card with a phone number. With it, you can make calls and surf internet.

CNY200 is ok to have a room in the city, but it can be just budget hotel. Hope you can understand.

Bear in mind, that pay as you go mobile phone service is expensive. Far cheaper to use an internet cafe.
