72hour transit free visa- does it apply to passengers from 51 countries or to passport holders ?

I am an indian passport holder travelling from Newzealand to India and have a layover of 15 hours at Shanghai Pudong Airport. Am i eligible for the 72 hour transit free visa on arrival? If yes, how do i go about applying it?

The policy is only eligible for people from the 51 countries, so you cannot enjoy the privilege. However, as your transit is only 15 hours. You are qualified for the 24h free-visa transit. Only staying in the airport, you don't need to present any document. If planning to go into the city, apply for a stay permit upon landing. Also inform your airline of your plan in advance and they may tell you what to do.
