About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong - Peking- Seoul

Hi,

I will be traveling from SAN to Hong Kong, then from HKG to Peking, and from PEK to Seoul. Does this qualify for the 72 hour transit? Does hong kong count as a separate country from China? Thank you.

Yes Jessica, this route qualifies for the 72-hour free transit. Hong Kong counts as a separate region when it comes to immigration affairs.
