About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Use the 72 hour visa?

Hello!

We are flying home from Bangkok back to Sweden in january 2016. We have a stop at Beiijing airport for 13 hours. We are planning to stay at a hotel near the airport. We wounder if we can use the 72 hour visa free transit or if it is nessesery to have an entry permit?

Nona, your route is qualified for 72 hours transit. As long as your flights don't stop by any other Chinese cities, you can make use of the free transit to stay at a hotel outside of the airport.
