About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying into Hong Kong, from London and wish to visit Guangzhou. Do I need a visa?

I am flying into Hong Kong,from London and wish to visit Guangzhou for 48 hours before returning to Hong Kong then back to London. I would prefer to go Hong Kong - Guangzhou - Hong Kong by train.

Yes, you need to apply for a L type in advance from the CVASC branches in UK. It requires round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation in Guangzhou. Plus, your passport, application form and a recent passport photo are needed.
