About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I like to go by train from HKG to Guangzhou, stay less than 24 hrs and go back to HKG.

I have a US passport. What kind of visa do I need? Guenter

Guenter, you need to apply for a normal L type entry permit in advance. You had better do the application in US rather than in Hong Kong.
