About:Visa Policy of China

transit visa in Shanghai Pudong

Hi
My girlfriend, our daughter (10 month) and me travel to Shanghai with KLM from Amsterdam on October
I have entry permit for China and will stay in Shanghai until November 1th. where i go to Philippine for holiday
But the China consular office here in Copenhagen will not make PRC entry permit for my girlfriend because she is from Philippine and only are here on a short stay ( Schengen entry permit ), our baby they can make it for she has Danish passport.
We arrive in Shanghai on Friday 2. October. 2.30 pm and my girlfriend and baby have a flight to Manila 35 hours after
Can my girlfriend and baby get a transit permit 72 hours when we arrive in Shanghai ....The problem are here that KLM and Cebu Air do not work together so she have to get her luggage out in Shanghai and check it in again to Cebu Air ..
as i remember she got a 72 hours free transit last time she was going from Europe too Shanghai with a connecting flight to Manila , but Maybe the rules have change since that time

Best regards
Jan Soerensen

Jan, sorry, you girlfriend can't enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy because of her nationality. I assume the last time she might use the 24-hour direct trasit policy. However, this time it can't be used because her layover exceeds 24 hours.
