About:Nanning Travel

Hi, I have been offered employment in one of the uni in Nanning.

Can someone please help me with my concerns:
(i) What's the cost of living like in the city?
(ii) As a person who only knows English & Tamil, how friendly is the city?
(iii) How's the public transportation like?
(iv) Is it a friendly city?

I am trying to find out as much as possible about this place before I agree to take up the offer. Thanks for any input given here!

Thank you.....Jay

1. Well, generally speaking, CNY 1,500 to 2,000 per month is enough.
2. As I know, this is a civilized city. Most of local people are friendly. Even though you can't speak Chinese, I believe that you can get along with them very well. And you are going to work in a uni, the situation will be even better surrounded by students and teachers.
3. The transportation is convenient. Major transportation modes are city bus and taxi. You can easily get to your destinations.
4. Yes, it's a friendly city. Many people are willing to help you. Don't worry.
