About:Dujiangyan Panda Base

Holding Pandas in China

Hello,

1.As tourists, are we able to hold them?
2. Do we have to participate in the Volunteer Program to hold them, or is there another way?
3. Is July a good month to see these baby creatures?

1. Yes, you can hold with a fee of CNY2, 000 around. And in the present, the holding experience is only available at the Dujiangyan Valley.

2. Participating the Volunteer Program is also a way to hold them, but it may take time to apply for the program. For the other way, see the No. 1 answer.

3. Well, most cubs are born in August and Sep. , which would be a good time to see the baby. July, you may cannot witness the cub but adult ones.

Was at the Dujiangyan Valley today. Holding or taking pictures with the lovely creatures is no longer allowed.
