About:Visa Policy of China

72 Hrs Seaman Visa

I am a Seaman and Signing Off at Qingdao.

Kindly advise if possible to stay for 72 Hrs after Signing Off at China and then take flight for (Mumbai ) India from Guangzhou.

Sorry, you cannot enjoy the 72-hour fre transit policy.

There are several reasons. First, your country is not among those ones that can enjoy this 72-hour free transit policy. Second, the policy has not been implemented in Qingdao yet. Third, you transit in two Chinese cities. Last, you can't use this policy if you enter by ship.

Anyway, if the total layover is not more than 24 hours, you don't need the transit permit.
