About:Kunming Travel

How to get to Dali from Kunming Airport?

I would like to know how to reach train station or bus terminal. I really don't know which is the more convenient.
I read in another post that bus will not drop me at Dali Old town ..., there's no direct connection?

Upon landing, you can take shuttle bus line 5 to get to West Bus Station. Then take direct coach to get to Dali. The schedules are from 07:20 to 20:00 with the frequency of 15 to 20 mins. The duration is about 6 hours. It costs CNY 120 to 140 per person.

Or you can take airport shuttle bus lin 2 to get to Main Railway Station first. Then take direct train to arrive at Dali Railway Station. The duration is 6 to 8 hours. The departure times are 08:35, 09:43, 12:10, 21:21, 21:48, 22:14, 22:37 and 23:15. The ticket fare of soft sleeper is CNY155.5 and hard sleeper is CNY105.5.
