About:Zhangjiajie Travel

Travelling Arrangements Around Zhangjiajie

I am planning to travel in October/November 2015. I would like to enquire:

- What are the travelling options from Changsa to ZJJ, by bus, train or flight?
- How do I travel from ZJJ to Phoenix (Feng Huang) ancient town, by bus, train or flight and how long does it takes?
- How do I travel from zJJ to Furong, a Tujia ancient town in Yongshun County and how long does it takes?
- How can I reach the Tusi sites of Laosicheng in Hunan province and Tangya in Hubei province from ZJJ?

1. You are suggested to take train from Changsha Railway Station, and get to ZZJ Railway Station.
The schedules are 00:42, 08:02, 20:30, 22:03 and 23:41. The duration is 6 to 7 hours. Then walk to ZZJ Bus Station and take direct coach to arrive at the scenic area. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours.

2. Take direct coach at ZJJ Bus Station to get to Furong Town. They depart from 07:00 to 18:00 with the interval of an hour. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

3. Public transportation to the other two attractions are very inconvenient from ZJJ. You are suggested to hire a private car if you are not in a very tight budget.
To Tusi Sites of Laosicheng, the duration is 4.5 to 5 hours.
To Tangya in Hubei, the duration is about 6 hours.
