About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Does a speeding ticket count as a "criminal record?"

I got a speeding ticket in between my last Chinese visa and now. I will be going back sometime next year and before that I will contest the ticket as I have a (what I believe to be) legitimate excuse. In the worst case scenario if the ticket is still there, would I be declined? I am gravely worried about this.

Don't worry. The speeding ticket is not a big issue. You still have the possibility to get the PRC entry permit.
