About:

We would like to use public transportation from Beijing airport to the Sofitel downtown.

Please advise which bus or subways to use.

You must refer to Sofitel Wanda BJ, right?
Upon landing, you can take shuttle bus line 7, get off at Tonghuihe North Road (New Beijing TV Station) first. The ticket fare is CNY 21 per person.
After arriving, walk north around 830 yards to find the hotel.

Sorry, the name of the hotel is Swissotel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center

Oh, I see. Take airport shuttle bus line 3 to get to Dongsishitiaoqiao Station. It costs CNY 21 per person. After arriving, walk northeast around 560 yards to find the hotel.
